Role overview

The Investment Intern will assist the Head of Investments with daily analytical, administrative, and operational tasks. This internship offers valuable practical experience in portfolio management, financial markets, and investment operations within a regulated environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who aim to develop a career in the investment field and are planning to pursue professional qualifications such as the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or similar certifications.


Key responsibilities


Market research & analysis

●     Monitor market movements, fund performance, and financial news.

●     Prepare short market summaries and research reports.

●     Support in gathering and comparing fund data and investment options.


Portfolio support

●     Assist in maintaining and updating internal portfolio and performance trackers.

●     Prepare presentations and materials for clients.

●     Contribute to data analysis for portfolio reviews and model updates.


Administrative assistance

●     Help maintain investment documentation, fund sheets, and performance archives.

●     Liaise with Compliance, Operations, and Marketing teams when needed.


Reporting & documentation

●     Take meeting notes and prepare summaries for internal investment discussions.

●     Assist in preparing quarterly and annual investment reports.


Requirements

●     Student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

●     Strong analytical and organisational skills.

●     Good command of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, or similar tools is a plus.

●     Excellent English communication skills.

●     Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
