Hey there! This is Alex and together with my team we're making sure that cosmetic products are completely safe.
What we do
SkinConsult is one of the few companies responsible for checking the safety of cosmetics in the EU. Your bathroom shelves probably contain a product we've checked. We do this by creating something like a passport for cosmetic products, but the secret sauce is that we automate the crap out of repetitive work.
What we need
While we are automating as much as possible, there is still a lot of cosmetic product data that needs to be reviewed manually. And that's where you come in!
This is a remote position for an entry-level Regulatory Affairs Officer.
This is what you'll do
- Review customer-submitted data for completeness and clarity.
- Enter and structure data accurately within our SkinApp platform.
- Flag potential errors or inconsistencies for further review.
- Collaborate with a Safety Assessor if you see issues.
- Assist in training AI models by identifying patterns in common errors.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in a related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or similar.
- Ability to work in a fully remote position. That means I look at results only (who needs micromanagement anyway?) and I trust you to achieve this together with the rest of the team.
- Detail oriented. You'll be helping to review and approve data that is directly used to decide whether a cosmetic product is safe or needs to be pulled from market.
- Quick learner. The cosmetics regulatory field is big and weird so there is a ton to learn. We don't expect you to have any prior knowledge on the cosmetics regulatory field (but if you do: bonus points!)
Salary: 2700-3000 EUR/month based on a 40h workweek
