The Regional Vice President of Operations is a regional executive who insures that operational, financial, and commercial goals (through collaboration with the sales team) are met within a designated region for Mobile, Fixed and Joint Venture sites estimated at between $50M and $100M in revenue. The RVP has full P&L responsibility and is responsible for delivering year-over-year net revenue growth and profitability in a designated region. This includes: strategic planning and execution, customer relationship management, driving operational excellence, managing region business growth, managing same-store growth, and partnering on logistics optimization. The RVP will work on the identification, planning, management and coordination of various operational initiatives and tactical plans, tracking operations performance against key performance indicators and coaching/mentoring Directors and Managers on the team to ensure optimal team performance.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- The RVP will develop (with finance) and deliver on the Region’s P&L: Partner with finance and Sr Mgmt. to develop an appropriate budget. Monitor P&L performance and financials and create plans and actions to ensure achievement through key levers including, but not limited to: customer retention and satisfaction, new customer growth, patient quality and satisfaction, effective resource mgmt. and staffing, efficient / effective logistics, building and managing a high performing team, etc.
- Partners with Quality Team to deliver excellent patient care: Ensures that operations in the Region deliver top level care to patients. Measure the team against quality KPIs and create initiatives to drive improvement. Instill an overall culture of patient care within the team.
- Partners with Sales leadership to develop and achieve regional growth strategies: drive strategic account development and management related to “at risk” customers; supports Region, ops and sales teams in developing solutions tailored to meet the short and long-term needs of customers; ensures Region is exceeding its budgeted customer retention rate. Leads Operations Team through partnership with sales on strategic account planning activities; supports Team to cultivate consultative relationships with hospital C-level in the identification of mobile to fixed conversion opportunities and opportunity to add new service lines.
- Responsible for full HR lifecycle: recruiting, hiring, performance management, talent development, and termination of personnel. Partners with HR on staff actions related to performance or business needs. Other special projects/duties as assigned by Senior Management
- Maintains Region regulatory compliance; monitors changes in applicable laws and regulations (OSPOD, OSHA, Joint Commission, NRC, DHS, ACR and/or other governing bodies), ensures Territory compliance with Territory’s quality and safety programs; ensure the highest standards of patient care..
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Candidate should possess 10-15 years of experience in a Multi-Site, Multi-State Healthcare Operations Management role or a strong background in Management Consulting with a focus on operations and transformations. Healthcare services or logistics experience specifically are a plus.
- Candidate should have a high level of accountability for considerable budget levels along with strong competency in financial reporting and analysis, including at least 2-5 years of direct P&L responsibility for a complex organization
- Candidate should have strong experience in partnering with sales to drive growth
- Candidate should have a demonstrated history of successfully engaging internal and external stakeholders (at various levels and across functions), and be adept at moving senior management to action
- Master's Degree, MBA
- Prior Diagnostic Imaging experience is preferred, but not required
