We are looking for an experienced and senior sales professional in our Business Development department to lead, coach and further develop our Nordics business development team to market, continue building a position of market strength and engagement with all key customers and prospects across the territory.
You will become a key member of our global Business Development management team, reporting directly to the VP of Global Business Development. Collaborating closely with both our international business development teams and broader company departments, you will be part of a supportive, mission-driven, and high-performing team in a flexible and friendly work environment, with significant autonomy in your role.
What you will do:
Lead and grow a local team to maximise our potential in Nordics
Maximize company-wide growth by thoroughly exploring and evaluating all opportunities, ensuring time and effort are concentrated on the most valuable prospects.
Coach and expand the Nordics Business Development team
Provide clear visibility of pipeline, opportunities and all business development activities
Continually look for new opportunities to grow and expand market position in the region
Represent the company at local events and ensure we are known and active in the market
Work closely with Marketing, product and Business Development teams to ensure we maximise positive impact within the region
Stay on top of the latest trends and emergent issues in our industry (business model changes, new tools, products, and features)
Actively contribute to the Global Business Development team by sharing insights and helping to establish and refine global best practices.
What you need:
5+ years’ experience in sales in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
Direct experience selling to the Engineering, Manufacturing, or construction sector
Experience leading and coaching teams for success
Experience in coaching teams to have sufficient pipeline coverage to achieve new ARR business targets- ideally from outbound.
Quantifiable track record of achieving demanding sales targets
Experience in driving a proactive sales strategy including organized outbound sales motions and sales efforts to achieve sufficient pipeline expectations to achieve ARR targets
A strong drive to get things done and overcome challenges
Clear, direct, timely and relevant communication style
Good cooperation skills
Understanding of and passion for sustainability, ideally in the construction sector, but willingness and demonstrable ability to get up to speed with the sector is more important than prior experience
Fluency in English as it is our working language
Fluency in Swedish or a Nordic language is preferred.
