The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have proven experience in business development or sales in the fixings, or construction industry. (Minimum of 2 years)
  • Will be multilingual, speaking English and an additional language as a minimum.
  • Have drive and vision to be successful in a BDM role with the ambition to develop and lead an entire local team as the territory grows.


The Role

As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will drive sales and business growth in Central Europe (exact territory to be defined depending on candidate location)

You will focus on building strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying market opportunities, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.

This dynamic role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with a deep understanding of the fixing manufacturing industry.


Key Responsibilities

As a key brand representative, your responsibilities include:

  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery, including contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Customer Focus: Manage and grow the existing customer portfolio, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Territory Management: Develop and implement a regional strategy to drive growth and market penetration.
  • Performance Management: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. To deliver a consistent revenue stream.
  • Strong Communication skills: Collaborate with the marketing team and board of directors to align sales goals with the overall business strategy.
  • Industry and Product Knowledge: Work closely with the R&D team to identify market trends, uncover opportunities, and assist in developing bespoke products.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrate strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and recommend practical, effective solutions.


Key Requirements

Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales in the fixing, construction, or manufacturing industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills:

  • Language: English and additional language.
  • Strong knowledge of the fixing manufacturing industry and its products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Personal Attributes:

  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
