Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Performance based Bonus & Commission

The Opportunity

Looking for a curious, organized, ambitious Recruitment Coordinator who loves finding and connecting great people. This isn’t just an admin role—you’ll be customer facing, and actively involved in candidate assessment, client research, and business development support while learning our specialized niche.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Recruitment Operations (70%)

  • Job Posting: Crafting and Advertising Jobs across Indeed / LinkedIn / QTalent / Loxo
  • Resume Screening: shortlist applicants to defined requirements
  • Phone Screens: Assess motivation, qualifications, and ‘fit’
  • Data Collection: Survey / Data info gathering from Candidates
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews between clients and professionals
  • Pipeline Management: Candidate database management
  • Referencing: Reference and background checks as needed.
  • Client Submissions: Resume formatting, Submission Preparation
  • Feedback and Follow up: Feedback and full-cycle recruitment


Business Development Support:

Planning & Research (30% )


  • Market Research: LinkedIn research and list building of target companies
  • Prospecting Open Jobs: LinkedIn & Indeed Research, Job Alerts management
  • CRM (Loxo) data entry and target list administration
  • Employer Client Prospecting: Develop target lists of client contacts
  • Skill Marketing: MPC (most placeable candidates) profile creations for e-newsletter
  • USA Market Region research (New York/ Ohio /PA/ IL / Michigan/ Wisconsin)
  • Marketing Content Support: LinkedIn Content creation and postings.


Ideal Work Experience & Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, sales support, or customer success. Some recruitment agency experience would be ideal.
  • Superior communication skills - comfortable talking to anyone from QA technicians, R&D Food scientists, Sales and marketing leaders to Directors and C-suite executives.
  • Exceptionally organized - you naturally create systems manage workflows
  • Tech-savvy - comfortable learning new tools (ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools)
  • Self-directed - you can take general direction and run with it
  • Emotional Intelligence / Awareness – you know your audience, adapt and navigate conversations naturally while developing trust and building rapport
  • Comfortable conducting phone screens and assessing job/client fit beyond a resume.


Additional ‘Nice to Haves’:


  • Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, CPG, or food & beverage industries
  • Technical Degree in Sciences, Engineering, Psychology, Business And/Or Food & CPG industry experience
  • Previous business development or sales coordination experience
  • Familiarity with both Canadian and US employment markets
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter / Indeed or similar sourcing tools as well as ATS knowledge
  • Background in candidate assessment or candidate evaluation
