About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling teams that develop products aimed at removing barriers between our clients and the aid they deserve. Reporting directly to the Head of Talent, you will be the most tenured recruiter within a small, close-knit recruiting team of five members. Your primary responsibility will be to run full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from sourcing to closing, ensuring we attract top-tier talent aligned with our mission and values. Collaborating closely with engineering leaders and hiring managers, you will define role requirements, develop effective search strategies, and build robust candidate pipelines, including engaging passive candidates. You will manage the interview process to guarantee clear communication, prompt feedback, and an exceptional candidate experience. Additionally, you will handle multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining high standards for talent quality. As a leader within the recruiting team, you will mentor junior recruiters, share best practices, and elevate recruiting standards across the organization. Your insights will help identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 3 years dedicated to technical recruiting
  • Proven success partnering with VP or C-suite hiring stakeholders in high-talent environments
  • Data-driven and process-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for candidate experience and building high-performing teams
  • Experience as the most-tenured recruiter on a team, mentoring junior recruiters (preferred)
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools such as Ashby (preferred)
  • Strong track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing technical talent
  • Ability to manage multiple searches efficiently while maintaining high standards
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
  • Partner with engineering leaders and hiring managers to define role requirements and develop targeted search strategies
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of candidates, including passive talent engagement
  • Manage the interview process to ensure a positive candidate experience with clear communication and timely feedback
  • Handle multiple concurrent searches while upholding hiring standards and quality
  • Mentor and support junior recruiters, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of recruiting excellence
  • Identify and implement improvements to recruiting processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate recruiting strategies
  • Represent Atticus’s values and mission throughout the recruiting cycle to attract candidates aligned with our social impact goals
