About The Role

The Recruiter, Technical at Scout Motors will play a vital role in attracting and hiring top talent for the company’s engineering, product, and design departments. This position involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to extending offers, while partnering closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand their needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical recruiting within fast-paced environments, with the ability to balance speed, quality, and candidate experience. This role requires proactive sourcing, strategic talent attraction, and the ability to operate effectively within a KPI-driven environment. The Recruiter will also represent Scout Motors at industry events, build relationships within the talent community, and contribute to the company’s employer branding efforts. Initially, the role may be remote but will transition to an in-office setting at the Charlotte, NC headquarters within 3-6 months, with some travel for events and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly in technical roles within engineering, product, or design departments
  • Proven ability to manage and improve recruiting processes and pipelines
  • Experience leveraging ATS platforms, preferably Greenhouse, and sourcing tools for candidate identification and engagement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment with hiring managers and HR teams
  • Knowledge of labor market trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence
  • Experience in a KPI-driven recruitment environment with measurable targets
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; relevant bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus, especially in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or engineering-focused roles

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand hiring needs and set clear expectations on timelines, candidate profiles, and market conditions
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for professional technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates aligned with Scout Motors’ brand and values
  • Maintain and manage applicant pipelines, identify gaps, and adjust strategies to meet hiring goals
  • Provide regular updates on requisition status, applicant pool health, and hiring progress to stakeholders
  • Leverage recruitment technology, including ATS and sourcing tools, to ensure process discipline, compliance, and data accuracy
  • Represent Scout Motors at career fairs, industry events, and community engagement activities to build the company’s talent brand
  • Share labor market insights and competitive intelligence to inform hiring strategies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and candidate experience initiatives
