Description

As a Quality Assurance (QAE) Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Analyze, improve and implement effective QA strategies and methodologies
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the software is designed and developed with quality standards
• Establish guidelines and procedures to enhance the testing process and improve the overall quality of the software
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures accordingly.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective testing strategies that align with the goals of the project.
• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Knowledge of data testing processes and methodology
• Proven experience in QA for data engineering and ETL/ELT processes
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or .NET.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience using management systems (Azure DevOps, ADF Orchestration, Synapse Analytics, etc.).
• Experience with Azure Cloud Data Services (ADLS Gen 2, ADF) and Microsoft Azure DataBricks.
• Experience in ELT/ETL (cleansing and normalizing source data, transformation, and loading) reports and dashboard testing.
• Experience in creating data profiling, data mapping & SQL.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture, DWH concepts, Dimensional modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to testing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  
  

Salary Description

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00
