Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and cloud teams to streamline build, deployment, and release processes.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and maintain documentation for automation and architecture standards.
- Implement security best practices including secrets management, access policies, vulnerability controls, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, infrastructure, and pipeline issues efficiently.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and best practices to optimize DevOps workflows and platform reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and DevOps automation frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, infrastructure reliability, and cloud governance principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are an asset.
