Job Description

This job can be a full remote position or a Paris/hybrid position.

Our product is composed of a mission critical SaaS web platform, with high traffic inbound/outbound integrations. Our mission is to anticipate problems and proactively alert end-customers so they can efficiently manage exceptions. We achieve this by collecting and matching millions of theoretical and real data from different stakeholders.

Shippeo gives visibility to shippers, carriers and customers by answering the following questions:

  • Where is the truck, and are there any foreseeable delays?

  • What has actually been loaded and/or delivered, and are there any discrepancies?

  • What are the levers for improvement for the transport operations?

In a context of strong growth and industrialization of our IT operations, we are looking for a QA Analyst/ QA Engineer to reinforce the Tech teams, implement the QA strategy in close collaboration with the development teams spread over multiple tribes.

Reporting to Guy-Pascal, Head of QA, you will be in charge of ensuring the quality of the product, of the user experience but also promote quality through the product & tech teams.

 

What you will do

  • Become a specialist of the solution and the best attorney for customers

  • Work closely with feature teams in order to design tests relative to upcoming features

  • Define regression tests for sprints

  • Define and prepare relevant dataset for tests

  • Execute manual and automated tests

  • Run automated tests and analyze execution results

  • Open issues in bug tracker

  • Follow resolution of the issues and validate fixes

  • Send clear reports

  • Be a reliable contributor in incidents analysis



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology

  • Experience of minimum 3 years working in fast-paced, high-performing agile teams as QA

  • You have already been involved in large scale projects with multiple cross-team dependencies and various stakeholders

  • Experience in test design

  • Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Kibana) is a plus

  • Experience in test automation with Selenium in Python is a plus

  • Excellent proficiency in French and in English
