What You’ll Do
- Build, test and deploy backend APIs that serve machine learning outputs and customer logic
- Productionise model training and scoring pipelines from data science notebooks
- Craft cloud-native data services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Collaborate remotely with engineers, analysts and data scientists via pair programming
- Contribute to agile development processes, including code reviews and unit testing

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Proven experience working with Python in a production environment
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs
- Comfortable writing clean, testable, scalable code
- Understanding of software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
- Effective communication skills — able to collaborate in remote-first and agile teams
We'd also love you to bring;
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, or Kubernetes
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks, and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with machine learning services or data science collaboration (not essential to have a DS background)
