Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Community Health Worker to contribute subject matter expertise to AI training initiatives focused on public and community health. In this fully remote role, you will apply your frontline knowledge to help develop and refine AI systems designed to support health education, outreach coordination, and population health strategies.
Your real-world experience will directly inform the accuracy, cultural relevance, and practical value of AI-driven health tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on community health practices, outreach protocols, and patient engagement strategies
- Review, annotate, and validate health-related scenarios and datasets for AI training purposes
- Document common community health workflows, case management processes, and referral pathways
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, cultural competence, and alignment with public health standards
- Translate real-world case examples into structured training inputs for AI model improvement
- Participate in virtual collaboration sessions with technical and cross-functional teams
- Contribute insights on social determinants of health, access barriers, and community-based interventions
- Support ongoing refinement of AI tools through detailed written feedback
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certified Community Health Worker (CHW) or equivalent hands-on experience in community or public health settings
- Strong understanding of public health principles, patient advocacy, and community resource coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail in reviewing documentation and structured data
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Interest in digital health innovation and technology-driven solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to AI training, data annotation, or digital health technology projects
