Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for the ongoing optimisation of manufacturing processes, working closely with product management
- Analysis of existing plant and production processes, and development of process optimisation measures with regard to efficiency, quality, energy consumption and operational safety
- Process simulations of entire plants and individual process steps
- Transferring new products and processes from the pilot phase to the production phase
- Providing process engineering support to the project manager on major projects and plant implementation projects
- Preparation and finalisation of process descriptions, flow diagrams (R&I), process documentation, specifications, calculations and technical documentation
Your profile
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering from a university of applied sciences, ETH or a technical university (or equivalent) and at least 2–3 years’ professional experience in plant engineering
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of simulation software is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- In-depth knowledge of process design, material and energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, as well as lean management and industrial engineering
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts, analyse problems systematically and develop practical solutions
- An independent, committed approach to work, driven by motivation and passion
- The ability to work as part of a team and a professional, courteous manner
- High resilience and flexibility
