Position Title: Proofreading Resource

Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Position Summary: Commercial Operations Proofreading resource must accurately identify and communicate discrepancies in proposed vs. reviewed promotional and sales training materials as part of the Material Approval Process (MAP).
Background Context:
- The individual in this role will verify reviewer’s change requests to ensure that highly regulated MAP materials meet or exceed our organization’s content and delivery expectation for use in the field, at conventions, company meetings or training events.
- Role requires extreme attention to detail and quality assurance.
- This individual is relied upon to meet mission critical deliverable timelines.
- Proofreading is essential to our commitment to deliver in-market materials aligned to commercial objectives.
- This role supports strategic priorities/goals and/or mission-critical operations by ensuring all MAP-approved materials, print and electronic, become available for in-market use in the timeframe designated as essential to Marketing goals.
- Experience working in pharma industry is desirable, though not required.
- Preference will be given to candidates familiar with document management system Veeva PromoMats and proofreading software such as TVT for DocuProof.
- This role does not include copywriting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content accuracy gatekeeper: Rigorously proofread and validate all documents to ensure they precisely match approved content in a variety of different platforms and environments.
- Consistent and urgent communication: Proactively communicate key findings and potential risks to stakeholders and verifying that any discrepancies are reconciled with all the impacted stakeholders.
- Support content integrity: Review and validate copy against "Source of Truth" documents, making sure every word is correct and consistent.
- Assist with other related tasks as needed to support our marketing operations team and goals.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 4 years proofreading experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and meticulosity.
- Strong proofreading skills are absolutely essential.
- Solid understanding of English language.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in handling changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent ability to focus on texts that may be lengthy and technical/medical in nature.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Medium to high ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work with a variety of web-based tools.
- Ability to follow documented processes and work instructions.
- Self-motivated, positive team player.
- Ability to work well with all types of work styles.
- Available for evening or weekend work with notice to support product launches.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Veeva PromoMats software.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of TVT software.
