An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate professional to join NWSSP as a Project Manager. The post will play a key role in the continued effective delivery of the NHS Wales Decarbonisation Strategic Delivery Plan, working within a well-established small team of project managers, predominantly supporting the Decarbonisation Programme. Situated within the PMO, the Project Manager will be integral in the continued success of NWSSP. The individual must have excellent organisation and engagement skills to support key stakeholders to deliver transformational change, with impacts across NHS Wales. The role will require work at all levels across NWSSP, Health Boards, Trusts and Welsh Government. An understanding of NHS Wales and the relationship NWSSP has with Health Boards and Trusts would be advantageous but is not essential.
The successful candidate will lead on analysis within the Decarbonisation programme and projects, reviewing complex data, communicating data issues and accurately analyse, interpret and present information to inform all aspects of work. The post will also seek to support and embed best practice across the organisation, working closely with stakeholders from all services within NWSSP, NHS Wales and Welsh Government. The post holder must possess excellent communication, stakeholder management skills, which will help ensure policies, processes, and methodologies are developed and adopted across the organisation and wider boundaries in support of the NHS Wales Decarbonisation programme. In addition, the post holder must also be determined and passionate PPM advocate focused on delivering projects and programmes to the highest standard, following already in use good practice and clearly focused on benefit realisation and successful business change.
