ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will lead software delivery engagements for Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprise clients across the DACH region, with a focus on Manufacturing and Retail. You'll take ownership of projects from planning through successful delivery, collaborating with experienced cross-functional teams while building trusted partnerships with enterprise customers and driving business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end software development projects, ensuring predictable delivery, high quality, and business value.
  • Own project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and delivery outcomes while driving successful execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with enterprise clients by managing expectations and maintaining transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, business analysts, QA specialists, delivery leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, profitability, and overall delivery health.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying delivery risks, optimizing project processes, and ensuring compliance with delivery standards.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, project planning, estimation, and engagement documentation when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience managing software development projects within an IT services or technology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern software delivery practices.
  • Hands-on experience with predictive, Agile, or hybrid project management approaches.
  • Solid experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, delivery governance, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience leading distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher German for leading client meetings, managing day-to-day communication with customers and stakeholders, and preparing project documentation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients in the DACH region (Nice to have).
  • Background in Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain, or related industries (Nice to have).
  • Experience delivering fixed-price or outcome-based engagements (Nice to have).
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent (Nice to have).
