SKC is a Los Angeles-based, award-winning integrated communications agency helping brands connect, grow, and lead through strategic storytelling and smart communications. A meaningful part of our work is helping Asian brands expand in the U.S. with clarity, cultural fluency, and the right communications strategy to build trust in a new market. We believe meaningful brands are built with intention, strong partnerships, and communication that creates lasting impact.

We are seeking a strategic, organized, and results-driven Project Manager to help lead integrated communications, digital marketing, and event programs for high-profile government, trade, and exhibition initiatives. This role brings together clients, agency partners, vendors, media, and production teams to help deliver work that is thoughtful, engaging, well-run, and meaningful to the audiences we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Project & Campaign Management: Project manage event programs, integrated communications, and digital marketing and advertising, from planning through execution and wrap-up. Keep timelines, trackers, deliverables, teams, and client priorities organized so each project moves forward with clarity, purpose, and care.

  • Client & Partner Coordination: Serve as a trusted day-to-day point of contact for clients, international stakeholders, agency partners, vendors, and on-site teams. Prepare agendas, lead client meetings, track next steps, and follow through so clients feel informed, supported, and confident in our work. Communicate with respect, warmth, and professionalism while helping different groups stay aligned.

  • Event & Exhibition Support: Project manage high-profile exhibitions, pavilion experiences, opening ceremonies, media tours, stage programs, cultural moments, product activations, and on-site operations. Help ensure each experience feels polished, welcoming, well-run, and engaging.

  • Media Relations & Communications Support: Provide oversight of PR and communications workstreams, including press releases, media invitations, media briefings, pitching, press kits, media tracking, clippings reports, and client updates. Assign tasks, follow up with team members, track deadlines, and provide oversight to ensure deliverables are timely, polished, and client-ready.

  • Social Media, Digital Marketing & Content Coordination: Provide oversight of social media and digital campaign workstreams, resourced, and on track. Partner with team leads to clarify timelines, flag needs, support approvals, and ensure content calendars, platform-specific content, paid digital campaigns, video planning, and O2O engagement activities are delivered on time and with care.

  • Budget, Reporting & Performance Tracking: Track budgets, vendor costs, timelines, deliverables, campaign results, and client KPIs. Oversee interim and final reports that connect strong organization, thoughtful execution, and meaningful outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Thoughtful, organized, and proactive: You are calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and able to bring structure to complex projects without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • Strong communicator: You write clearly, speak professionally, and know how to keep clients, partners, vendors, media, and internal teams informed and aligned. You are comfortable preparing agendas, leading client calls, capturing next steps, and following through.

  • Respectful and warm: You believe how we work together matters as much as what we deliver. You bring professionalism, kindness, and good judgment to your relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and teammates.

  • Comfortable balancing creativity and structure: You enjoy helping bring ideas to life in ways that feel engaging, thoughtful, and memorable — from pavilion themes and stage moments to interactive experiences, photo-worthy details, giveaways, games, and audience-friendly activations.

  • Excited by the mix of strategy and experience: Our work can involve government and trade initiatives, technology sectors, media relations, digital campaigns, and highly creative public-facing experiences. Interest in Asian markets, cross-border business, exhibitions, innovation, AI, semiconductors, smart manufacturing, e-sports, entertainment, or cultural storytelling is especially helpful.

  • Flexible and dependable: You are comfortable with a mostly remote, project-based role starting immediately and running through October 2026, with part-time or contract hours, on-site event support as needed, and flexibility across Pacific, Central, and occasional Asian time zone schedules.

  • Comfortable with the tools of the work: You are confident using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Asana, Canva, and web-based analytics or reporting platforms.

  • Language and cultural fluency: Mandarin Chinese language ability is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of or interest in Asian cultures, cross-border commerce, and international business partnerships is valued.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event and project management, public relations, marketing, exhibitions, experiential production, or an integrated agency environment is preferred.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, International Relations, Event Management, or a related field is helpful.

  • We value judgment, follow-through, writing ability, warmth, teamwork, creative problem-solving, and project instincts just as much as formal credentials.
