ABOUT PIX
We're a small tech-creative studio with offices in New York and Utrecht. We build digital products for a range of top-tier brands, and we move fast. The team is international, everything runs in English. See our work at thisispix.com.
THE ROLE
This is a part-time project manager position for an ongoing kids app project. Roughly 4 to 5 hours of structured meeting time per week, with more contact required during early planning phases. You'll work alongside an experienced developer and a design team based in Western Europe, coordinating between internal teams, external stakeholders, and the client.
The project is design heavy and involves a kids facing digital product in the American market. You'll own the schedule, write requirements, track dependencies, and keep everyone aligned. The client and stakeholders are US-based, so expect calls on Pacific and Eastern time.
WHAT WE NEED
You've worked on digital products or services, apps, platforms, or similar, that were shipped to real users. Ideally you have direct experience with the American kids or family market, or at minimum a clear understanding of what that context demands: content safety, compliance constraints, copy tone, and what actually works for young audiences.
You have a feel for how kids interact with digital products and what features land. You don't need to code, but you need to ask sharp questions and spot when something won't fit the audience. Strong written English is a must. You'll write plans, requirements, and client facing updates.
WHO FITS
You've shipped something for a kids or family audience and can talk concretely about the decisions involved. You're comfortable working in a small, high trust team without a lot of hand holding. You can handle multiple stakeholders, including third parties with their own requirements, without losing the thread.
If your background is primarily in events, non-digital PM, or marketing, this is not the right fit.
HOW TO APPLY
- Apply directly via LinkedIn. Include a short note on what specifically in your background is relevant here. Tell us what you've built, for whom, and what made it tricky. Skip the standard opener. Just be direct.
