Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, including development of project charters, schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
- Manage full project lifecycles from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring alignment with organizational and healthcare system objectives.
- Oversee project governance activities, including executive reporting, steering committee coordination, and performance tracking.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, maintaining risk registers and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across clinical, technical, operational, and external partner groups to ensure alignment and consensus.
- Support change management activities, ensuring successful adoption and transition of digital health solutions into operations.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate resources across multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment.
- Support delivery of healthcare IT and digital health initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of technology solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, including large-scale and complex initiatives.
- Strong experience in project planning, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience working in matrixed environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
- Digital Health or Healthcare IT project experience strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, cloud environments, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards and systems (e.g., HL7, healthcare integrations) is an asset.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior and clinical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Jira/Confluence (preferred).
