I am looking for an experienced Project Estimator to join my client in Swalmen, Netherlands.
This is an office job which would require occasional travelling to Born.
As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and guiding proposal/tender processes for multidisciplinary projects in an industrial machinery environment. You will work closely with project managers, lead engineers, supply chain/procurement, and production to translate customer requirements and technical specifications into feasible, financially viable solutions.

You will also
- Prepare complete cost estimates for machinery and system-integration projects.
- Set up and/or interpret a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Analyse technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications.
- Prepare and support proposal and tender processes.
- Identify risks and opportunities for cost optimization/value engineering.
- Manage the RFQ/proposal process with suppliers and translate specifications into requests.
- Bachelor's level (HBO) education/working mindset; preferably Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Management, or similar.
- Experience with project estimating in a technical/manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; accurate and structured.
- Communicative, proactive, and able to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
