About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Analyst to support our Platform Initiatives & Operations Team. In this role, you will assist in managing, coordinating, and executing strategic operational projects related to payment processing, internal workflows, and vendor optimization initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fintech operations, while helping ensure our payment processing capabilities are designed for scale.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning & monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data Teams
- Document project requirements & prepare regular status reports and updates for stakeholders and leadership
- Independently drive projects forward through cross functional collaboration and a deep understanding of Priority’s Payment Operations processes
- Support the implementation and improvement of operational processes and systems
- Help identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and contribute to continuous platform & process improvement
What Success Looks Like:
Success in a Payment Operations Project Analyst role involves effectively managing and optimizing payment processes, driving cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring that systems and workflows align with compliance, efficiency, and business goals.
- Identifies, analyzes, and improves inefficient workflows within payment operations.
- Ensures high levels of accuracy in transaction processing, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Leads or supports projects (system upgrades, automation, vendor integrations) with minimal oversight.
- Clear documentation: Maintains thorough project plans, business requirements, and SOPs.
- Provides timely project updates to stakeholders at various levels, including executives.
- Builds strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors to support operational initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or fintech
- Interest in payments, financial services, or transaction processing
- A willingness to dive in and take ownership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and think proactively
- Understanding of ACH, card processing, or banking operations is a bonus

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation range: $75,000 - $80,000
