Position title : Program Manager/PMO with Apparel
(Should be Program Manager, and not Project Manager) with Apparel or or Retail Experience –
- 8+ years of experience leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives-this could be as a Technical Program Manager/PMO
· Lead and oversee multiple projects within the apparel and retail sector.
- Apply analytics-driven insights to optimize program outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Ensure seamless coordination among teams, vendors, and partners.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and risks, ensuring efficient execution.
- Proven ability to drive multi-year, multi-team programs that require both customer and technical focus.
- Experience leading customer-facing software initiatives, balancing business objectives, customer impact, and engineering constraints.
- Experience with enterprise-scale software development lifecycles, including launch strategies, compliance, and operational scaling.
- Experience managing cross-org dependencies across multiple engineering, product, and business teams.
- Proficiency in setting up governance models, decision-making frameworks, and program health metrics.
- Ability to drive consistency in execution across different teams, priorities, and timelines.
- Proven track record of influencing at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives.
- Experience handling multi-functional trade-offs, ensuring collaboration rather than friction.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and architectural trade-offs, even if not hands-on coding.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Program Manager in Apparel/Retail.
Strong data analytics skills with hands-on experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in relevant project management tools and methodologies.
Someone who is extremely well spoken, excellent storytelling capabilities, understanding & experience with Data & Analytics transformations.
Ultimately need someone to understand the strategy and put together the story on how its progressing, accomplishments, new features and connecting the change management plan to the project plan and to the major milestones for the program overall.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and PowerPoint.
Comfortable managing and interpreting complex datasets and dashboards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Experience with data management processes, data ownership categorization, and onboarding processes is a plus.
Experience with less structured teams, independent work, and fluctuating priorities
