Production Designer for Radius Advertising
Location: Remote
Reports To: Lead Designer
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time
Prepared Date: Feb 2026
Summary:
The Production Designer is responsible for the hands-on creation, refinement, and management of production-ready design assets across print, packaging, retail signage, and digital marketing materials for multiple retail brands. Working closely with the Lead Designer, the Production Designer serves as a primary content creator for incoming design requests, translating direction and requirements into high-quality, on-brand deliverables across multiple projects and deadlines.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys refining, polishing, and executing designs within clear brand and production constraints. As part of a small, collaborative team, the position is execution-focused, with opportunities to contribute creatively to systems and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Execute, refine, and maintain production-ready design assets in alignment with established brand standards and best practices.
· Create artwork for retail packaging, labels, instructions, signage, and digital marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
· Translate creative direction, briefs, and feedback into polished final deliverables across multiple brands and projects.
· Apply revisions efficiently and professionally through multiple review cycles, maintaining attention to detail throughout.
· Prepare and organize files correctly for print and digital production, including formats, specifications, and version control.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, new requests, and evolving project needs.
· Communicate clearly and collaboratively with the Lead Designer and internal stakeholders, asking thoughtful questions when clarification is needed.
· Maintain organized working files and digital assets to support team workflows and long-term consistency.
· Contribute ideas and improvements to design systems, templates, and standards as brands and product lines evolve.
Note: This role involves a significant amount of day-to-day execution and refinement work. Designers who prefer mostly conceptual or strategy-only roles may not find this position to be the right fit.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 3–5+ years of professional graphic or production design experience in an execution-focused role.
· Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world, production-ready design work, such as packaging, labeling, signage, instructions, or marketing collateral.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with confidence preparing files for print and digital production.
· Demonstrated ability to follow established brand guidelines, apply feedback, and refine designs through multiple revision cycles.
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and receptive approach to feedback.
Bonus Qualifications:
· Experience with retail packaging, regulated consumer products, or multi-brand environments.
· Familiarity with WordPress sites using custom themes (front-end or back-end experience is a plus, not a requirement).
· Strong organizational habits, including file structure, naming conventions, and version control.
· Willingness to learn new tools, workflows, or software as needed.
