Job Summary
Responsible for driving the success of CONMED’s Orthopaedic product portfolio across the Nordic region, you will take ownership of long-term product strategies to meet business objectives, ensuring that both internal and external customer needs are identified, addressed, and met with effective solutions.
Working closely with sales teams and key healthcare professionals across the region, you will ensure CONMED is positioned as a market leader in Orthopaedics.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Collaboration
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with colleagues, key opinion leaders (KOLs), other healthcare professionals, and procurement teams within the Nordic region.
- Represent CONMED at key industry events, congresses, and exhibitions, providing technical demonstrations and deep insight into the CONMED Orthopaedic portfolio.
- Gather feedback from colleagues, surgeons, and other healthcare partnerships to inform product development and positioning strategies.
Technical Expertise
- As the in-region product expert, provide technical guidance and training to both colleagues and customers.
- Support the Nordic Orthopaedic sales team through regular field visits, offering ongoing coaching and mentorship.
- Deliver ongoing product training to all relevant internal and external parties to ensure they are well-equipped, knowledgeable, and compliant at all times, upholding CONMED’s reputation of excellence within the market.
- Organise and lead assessment workshops, and other appropriate learning initiatives, to enhance stakeholder understanding and effectiveness.
Strategic Support
- Work with the Senior Marketing Manager – UKINORD to develop and implement in-region plans for the Orthopaedic portfolio, including product positioning, pricing, targeting, segmentation, and promotion.
- Work with the Senior Marketing Manager – UKINORD on product planning and launches, including pre-launch activities, such as market analysis and preparing the sales team to ensure a successful introduction to the market.
- In addition to supporting the successful launch of new products, manage and optimise existing product lines to ensure sustained market growth within the region.
- Ensure the availability of all relevant tools, resources, and materials for the sales team to ensure they are fully supported in reaching their targets.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning within the Orthopaedic sector (Nordics).
- Take the initiative in recommending new ideas and business opportunities, sharing findings with all relevant stakeholders.
- Track and measure the success of product and clinical performance, providing regular reports to management.

Education / Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- A full, valid driving licence.
Desirable
- Professional product or marketing qualification.
- Registered medical/clinical qualification within Orthopaedics.
- Train The Trainer Certified.
Experience, Skill, knowledge and attributes

- Proven experience within the Orthopaedic med tech sector.
- Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to deliver product training and support to both colleagues and healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to travel regularly (80%) within the Nordic region
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
