Job Description:
The Product Owner is responsible for defining product vision, prioritizing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features that align with business objectives and customer needs. This role acts as the bridge between stakeholders, customers, and the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and work closely with Product Owner (Client business team)
- Ensure alignment with business goals, market needs, and user insights.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback synthesis.
Backlog Management
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
- Write clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Continuously refine backlog items based on feedback and business value.
- Ensure development work aligns with product priorities and deadlines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, design, QA, marketing, and sales teams.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to plan sprints.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related communication along with Product Owner (Client business).
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable work items.
- Provide timely updates and manage expectations.
Execution & Delivery
- Ensure solutions meet customer needs and quality standards.
- Validate features through testing, demos, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track product performance using KPIs and iterate based on data.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in business, technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
- German Language skills (C1 preferred)
- Automotive / DMS domain expertise
Preferred
- Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
- Background in UX/UI principles or software development.
- Strong data-driven decision-making experience.
