KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Lifecycle Management & Operational Execution
- Lead the coordination of product launches, updates, and retirements, ensuring alignment across PM, R&D, Production, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Own and maintain internal systems and documentation for product specs, versions, pricing, and supply readiness.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks or risks that impact product delivery or customer experience.
- Analytics & Business Prioritization
- Develop and manage dashboards and reports to track product performance, customer usage, margin trends, and market activity.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to support portfolio decisions, business cases, and roadmap prioritization.
- Partner with other product managers and leadership to evaluate return on investment, resource allocation, and product expansion opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a key point of contact between Product Management and internal teams, including R&D, Production, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Drive collaboration on complex initiatives such as product readiness, process improvements, and cross-team deliverables.
- Proactively identify and address internal knowledge gaps by coordinating training sessions and maintaining reference materials.
- Sales & Marketing Support
- Ensure commercial teams have accurate, up-to-date information and tools for positioning, selling, and supporting the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Marketing on content development, messaging alignment, and campaign support for product launches or updates.
- Support customer and distributor inquiries related to product specs, configurations, or ordering details.
- Market Insights & Strategic Input
- Conduct and synthesize market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer feedback to inform roadmap direction and operational needs.
- Help validate new product and service ideas by evaluating feasibility, operational impact, and strategic alignment.
- Participate in Voice of Customer efforts, user interviews, and early-access evaluations to gather actionable input.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry).
- 3–6 years of experience in biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, or a related industry, ideally with product management, operations, or analytical focus.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to drive strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Clear, confident communication skills and ability to tailor messaging to different technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with RUO product lines, biotech services, or lab-based workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Jira, Monday.com, Tableau).
- Exposure to SDS or other regulated product documentation and processes.
- Understanding of commercialization strategies and customer needs in academic or biotech research environments.
