Objective
The Curriculum Development Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with management, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. - Manage team resources in the development of training curricula materials and assessments within Curriculum Authoring tool (e.g., AIM, CPM/LOM, LEED) that meets specified learning objectives and goals;
- Develop curricula materials consistent with the NAVEDTRA 142 series;
- Identify training needs and map out developmental plans for teams and individuals;
- Evaluate effectiveness of programs and employee progress. Recommend changes in methods and procedures;
- Design and development of Interactive Multimedia Instructional (IMI) products;
- Assess instructional effectiveness of course materials and analyze data to meet the needs of the learner and customer;
- Work with Product Managers/Project Leads to delegate project tasks based on staff members strengths, skill sets and experience levels;
- Create and/or acquire training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials;
- Assist in analyzing contract requirements and developing work statements and cost estimates;
- Ensure that all assigned projects adhere to accepted professional standards and applicable quality assurance requirements;
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, Business Management, Education, or related field preferred;
- Minimum of eight years’ experience developing Training and Curriculum documents;
- In depth knowledge of QA practices;
- In depth knowledge of Career Training Continuum (CTC) (formerly Ready Relevant Learning [RRL]) processes and objectives;
- Minimum of six years in a supervisory position;
- Master Training Specialist or equivalent qualification preferred;
- Demonstrated success defining and executing products;
- Ability to read, interpret, organize and synthesize source material into well-written, concise technical style reports in approved formats Excellent teamwork skills;
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
- Strong presence leading and working with top level management;
- Extensive experience and competency in project and program management methodologies;
- Proven ability to develop successful requirements management plans;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to evaluate problems and recommend solutions;
- Flexibility to assist wherever needed to achieve goals;
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance;
- Ability to liaison with Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) personnel and leadership.
