We're an all-in-one hiring platform that replaces resumes with real work samples. We've proven that what someone can do matters more than where they've been. Now we need someone to shape what this product becomes.
What you'll do:
Own the product roadmap - from candidate experience to employer workflows. You'll talk to customers weekly, synthesize what they need with where the market is going, and work directly with engineering and design to ship. You'll make the hard calls on what we build and what we don't.
This is a first PM hire. There's no existing process, no backlog someone else curated, no PM team to shadow. You'll define how product decisions get made at MeritFirst.

We don't care about your pedigree, your MBA, or whether "Product Manager" is already on your LinkedIn. We care about how you think.
- You obsess over the user's problem before jumping to solutions.
- You can talk to engineers about tradeoffs without hand-waving.
- You make decisions with incomplete information and own the outcomes.
- You write clearly - specs, emails, strategy docs - because clear writing is clear thinking.
- You'd rather ship something imperfect and learn than wait for certainty.
If you've been a PM before, great. If you've been the person who was basically doing product but didn't have the title, we want to hear from you. Your background won't disqualify you.
