Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Key Account Manager (Product KAM) to drive global new client acquisition and develop business for a specific product portfolio.

This role is primarily focused on prospecting and opening new accounts worldwide, managing the full sales cycle for selected products, and building a strong pipeline of international clients.

Unlike the Lead KAM role, the Product KAM is not responsible for the full product range, but instead acts as a product specialist and business hunter, working closely with the Sales Manager and Lead KAMs once accounts are established.

The position is fully remote and offers high autonomy and global exposure.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Development & Prospecting

  • Proactively identify and approach new clients worldwide (distributors, traders, food manufacturers).
  • Build and manage a strong international prospect pipeline.
  • Conduct market research to identify new regions, segments, and opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from first contact to first deals.


Product Sales Ownership

  • Act as commercial owner for a defined product category (not full portfolio).
  • Prepare and negotiate:
  • Pricing and volumes
  • Commercial terms
  • Long-term supply opportunities
  • Develop deep expertise in assigned product markets.


Account Development

  • Convert prospects into long-term active clients.
  • Grow newly onboarded accounts in volume and frequency.
  • Hand over mature strategic accounts to Lead KAMs when relevant.


Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Lead KAMs (for strategic accounts)
  • Operations & logistics teams
  • Quality and product specialists
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and sales forecasts.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hunter mindset with proven new client acquisition experience.
  • Experience in international B2B sales, preferably in:
  • Dairy trading
  • Ingredients
  • FMCG commodities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones.
  • Data-driven, organized, and proactive.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in international sales or business development.
  • Experience in dairy, food ingredients, or commodities is a strong advantage.


Languages

  • English – required
  • Spanish, French, or Arabic – strong plus
