About the position
Are you ready to make a real impact by shaping a platform that touches the lives of millions of parents and babysitters? Join our small, dynamic, and international team dedicated to creating meaningful connections, empowering parents to work, and providing babysitters with exciting and fulfilling opportunities.
Sitly is an online platform that connects families, nannies, and babysitters across 14 countries worldwide, making childcare more accessible. Our user base grows by millions annually, and we have ambitious goals for expanding our community and geographical reach in the coming years.
We are looking for a passionate Product Designer eager to positively impact the lives of our users. You will collaborate with our Head of Product, Product Designer, Quality Assurance specialists, Product Manager, CRO Specialist, and Engineers to design new features, create improvements, run A/B tests, and conduct user research, with the potential to enrich and transform our users’ lives in a meaningful way.
In this role, we are seeking a generalist who is eager to develop into a Growth Designer with a deep understanding of business needs and a strong desire to grow by adopting an experiment-driven mindset. You will learn to identify opportunities, validate ideas using data and user feedback, and continuously optimise the user journey to create meaningful impacts on both user experience and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design A/B test experiences for iOS, Android, Web, and WordPress, optimising for both user experience and business goals
- Lead the end-to-end design process, including problem framing, ideation, co-creation, advanced prototyping, user validation, and delivering high-fidelity designs that align with customer needs and drive business impact
- Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify innovative solutions, validating them through both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Conceptualise and design new user flows and improvements to existing flows by closely collaborating with stakeholders
- Design intuitive, native iOS experiences that follow Human Interface Guidelines while maintaining and improving Sitly’s design system as a reliable source of truth for the product team
- Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality implementation of your designs
You won’t like this job if:
- You thrive in a highly structured, slow-paced environment where responsibilities are clearly defined and unexpected challenges are minimal
- You prefer to focus on a single task or project for long periods without switching between priorities or adapting to new challenges
- You find it challenging to work without detailed guidance and prefer clearly defined instructions over taking initiative and ownership to navigate broader objectives
Benefits
Building and improving the best platform possible means we need you at your best, and we’re committed to making sure you’ve got everything you need:
- 27 paid holidays and public holidays, along with paid sick and care leave
- A €1,000 annual budget for training and courses to support your professional development
- Shares in the company, allowing you to benefit from our rapid growth
- A MacBook or any other preferred laptop of your choice
- The opportunity to be part of an exciting, fast-growing scale-up with a passionate, ambitious, committed, international, and fun team
- Freedom, trust, and the ability to have a major impact on Sitly’s product development
- An annual trip with the entire global team (representing over 20 nationalities)
About you
You’re driven to get things done and don’t mind going the extra mile to achieve results. Here’s what we’re looking for in a candidate:
- Advanced experience in design thinking, wireframing concepts, and visual and interactive design
- A portfolio that highlights your design experience
- Humble, open to feedback, and eager to learn from others
- A strong desire to learn and grow
- A strategic thinker who bases design decisions on data and is familiar with user research methods and CRO
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including working with design systems, libraries, and refining design systems in Figma
- Strong English communication skills
- A “just do it” mentality: you like to get your hands dirty and only stop once the job is done
- Excellent self-organisation skills. You effectively manage your workload and proactively improve processes to streamline workflows for the entire team
- Experience with consumer marketplaces is preferred
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular is preferred
- Experience with AI tools is a plus
