Challenges you'll meet
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand the needs and pain points of users, aiming to improve their user experience.
- Prototype and iterate on design solutions based on feedback from users and stakeholders, continuously enhancing the usability and visual style of the app.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by agility and a thirst for exploration.
- Take responsibility, alongside the content manager, for enhancing the program's content, thereby providing value to users on their fitness journey.
- Contribute to the creation of a Design System by incorporating design patterns and guidelines, ensuring consistency and coherence across the product ecosystem.
- Utilizing strong problem-solving skills and a keen vision to drive projects forward.
- 2+ years of experience in product design.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in startups or early-stage companies is advantageous, particularly in achieving product-market fit and scaling efforts.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and your problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (including the use of components, auto-layout, and constraints) Sketch, Adobe XD.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile app design.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile app design.
- Passion for staying at the forefront of design innovation and continuously improving your craft
- Strong experience with design systems
- Deep knowledge of Android/iOS guidelines
- Experience in usability testing
- Experience with prototyping and user testing methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Maze, UserTesting or GreatQuestion
- Personal experience using GenAI tools in your design workflows.
