To achieve this growth, we are looking for a Procurement Manager, based in Europe, to join our procurement team. What you are going to do:
- Based on the company's business needs, develop intercontinental capacity demand procurement plan, docking freight forwarding service providers, shipowners and shipping companies to obtain advantageous resources, co-ordination of the business team to ensure the rationality of the use of resources;
- According to the business demand, conduct temporary capacity procurement to ensure the effective landing of the demand;
- Manage the whole life cycle of the service provider pool to ensure the reliability of the capacity pool;
- Based on the company's management requirements, formulate procurement management rules, workflow and assessment standards, and monitor the implementation of the system on the ground to ensure business compliance;
- Real-time mastery of the market of the capacity market, collect market tariffs and dynamics and share them within the team, adjust and upgrade the internal resource strategy according to the market trend, and reduce the operation cost through mode innovation, etc., to ensure the competitiveness of the business;
- Linkage internal team (such as: sales, programme, operation, etc.), to help promote the landing of the capacity, and according to the quality of operation to optimize the existing resources.
Who you are:
- 5-10 years of international import and export operations related work experience, freight forwarding capacity procurement practitioners and shipping companies / shipping companies experience is preferred, capacity procurement team management experience is preferred;
- Familiar with the market head shipping company, shipping company cross-border operation mode, sea, land, air, railway capacity procurement process, procurement nodes and operation process has a clear perception;
- Have strong commercial negotiation and communication skills, and have a clear understanding of the market capacity situation and pricing system;
- Successful project management experience, good organisation and coordination skills and teamwork spirit;
- Strong learning ability and ability to solve unexpected problems independently;
- Integrity and pragmatic, able to bear hardships and stand hard work, strong resistance to pressure
- Skilled use of office software, word, EXCEL and PPT, etc.
- Fluent in English, fluent spoken Chinese is preferred.
