We are looking for a Procurement Data Analyst with 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and operational support—ideally within a consulting, finance, or shared services environment. This role supports procurement optimization efforts across a variety of clients by gathering, analyzing, and visualizing vendor, spend, and contract data to uncover insights and drive savings.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting. You’ll work closely with Procurement Managers and Directors to support sourcing events, develop data-driven recommendations, and ensure accurate project execution.
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze vendor, contract, and spend data from various sources (e.g. ERP systems, supplier data or market research).
- Develop dashboards and reports to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support savings projections by identifying pricing benchmarks, volume trends, and supplier variance.
- Create client-ready deliverables that translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Analyze procurement data, identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Assist managers and directors with project planning, documentation, and follow-ups.
- Maintain project trackers, meeting recaps, and key action items.
- Support sourcing events by preparing bid matrices, scoring models, and savings summaries.
- Coordinate with internal team members and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Use Excel, QLIK, SQL or similar tools to build reports and visualizations.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline data collection, validation, and reporting.
- Help maintain internal templates, databases, and knowledge repositories.
- Participate in internal and select client-facing meetings.
- Support the preparation of presentation materials for Directors and Managers.
- Maintain a responsive, professional, and solution-oriented approach in all communications.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or project support.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort with analytics tools such as QLIK, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
- Exposure to procurement, finance, or operations is a plus - but not required.
- Experience in consulting or professional services preferred.
- Desire to be client facing.
