We are looking for a talented SRM & Contract Specialist to join my clients Procurement team and take ownership of the full contracting lifecycle for suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
This is not a strategic sourcing role – we are looking for candidates with particularly strong contract management and SRM skills.
Preferred candidate will have experience in industries such as waste management, Infrastructure, manufacturing, oil and gas, or technology..
- Ideally candidates on hybrid but open to more of a remote set up within Holland
- circa €120,000-€135,000
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys negotiating strong commercial terms, reducing risk, and building productive supplier relationships while supporting strategic sourcing and maximizing value for the organisation.
In this position, you will work closely with procurement, legal, and internal stakeholders to develop high quality contracts and ensure they reflect business needs, compliance requirements, and best practices.
You will play a key role in reviewing and negotiating agreements, supporting sourcing initiatives, and maintaining accurate and well managed contract records.
You will also monitor performance, support governance activities, and help build efficient processes that strengthen the overall contracting function.
Key responsibilities include
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts, service agreements, and procurement documentation
- Supporting sourcing activities including proposal analysis, competitive events, and supplier evaluations
- Identifying commercial and legal risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies
- Acting as the main point of contact for suppliers on contractual matters and helping resolve issues
- Maintaining contract records, managing renewals and amendments, and ensuring obligations are met
- Contributing to continuous improvement of contract management processes and tools
You should have strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and contract lifecycle management as well as familiarity with systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of legal principles relevant to procurement contracts.
