We are looking for a strategic and analytical Procurement Consultant / Strategic Buyer / Category Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and procurement strategy development to support organizational objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize purchasing activities, reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure a reliable supply chain. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned categories and business units.
Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, and competitive analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and performance reviews.
Analyze spending patterns, procurement data, and market trends to support strategic purchasing decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
Monitor supplier performance, service levels, quality standards, and contractual compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and business needs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
Prepare procurement reports, spend analyses, forecasts, and management presentations.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Stay updated on market developments, supplier innovations, and procurement best practices.
✅ Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
Experience in spend analysis, cost modeling, and category management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, procurement software, and data analysis tools.
Knowledge of contract management, risk assessment, and supply chain principles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent are advantageous.
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, category management, or supply chain functions is preferred.
