Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to support sourcing, purchasing decisions, vendor evaluation, contract analysis, and cost optimization efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, negotiating value, and improving procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Supplier Management


  • Assist in evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and service

  • Maintain vendor records, contracts, and performance documentation

  • Support communication with suppliers for quotes, negotiations, and follow-ups

  • Track supplier KPIs and identify improvement opportunities

Procurement Analysis


  • Analyze purchasing data to identify spending trends and savings opportunities

  • Review purchase requests for accuracy, compliance, and value

  • Support cost-benefit analysis and supplier comparison models

  • Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and risk indicators

Contract & Compliance Support


  • Assist with the review of procurement contracts and service agreements

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Support contract lifecycle management and renewal tracking

  • Maintain documentation related to procurement processes

Operational Support


  • Prepare purchasing reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership

  • Support procurement forecasting and budget alignment

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, etc.) to gather requirements

  • Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and reconciliation

Qualifications

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • 0–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or business analysis (internships count)

Technical Skills


  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, cost analysis)

  • Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, NetSuite, Zoho, etc.)

  • Understanding of basic contract terminology and procurement principles

  • Knowledge of spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and sourcing techniques
