Role Description

H2Tab is seeking a Print & Packaging Designer to own the design, development, and execution of all packaging and physical brand materials.


This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will be responsible for shaping how the H2Tab brand is experienced physically — from product packaging and inserts to retail materials and printed collateral. You will work closely with leadership, product, and marketing teams to ensure every detail is aligned with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and production realities.


The ideal candidate has deep experience in packaging and print production, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance creative vision with technical execution.



Key Responsibilities

01/ Packaging Design + Execution

  • Own the design and development of all product packaging, including labels, boxes, inserts, and supporting materials
  • Translate brand identity into premium, cohesive packaging experiences
  • Prepare production-ready files that meet all print and manufacturing specifications
  • Ensure packaging is both visually compelling and functional across formats


02/ Print Production + Product Team Communication

  • Manage packaging and print production from concept through final delivery
  • Work closely with product lead and vendors to ensure accurate execution
  • Understand and apply print specifications including dielines, materials, finishes, and color profiles (CMYK, Pantone, etc.)
  • Review proofs, samples, and production runs to ensure quality and consistency


03/ Brand Consistency + Systems

  • Apply and uphold H2Tab’s brand identity across all physical touchpoints
  • Contribute to and maintain packaging guidelines, templates, and documentation
  • Ensure consistency across SKUs, product lines, and future packaging expansions
  • Identify opportunities to improve and elevate packaging systems over time


04/ Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align packaging with product positioning and business goals
  • Translate complex or science-forward information into clear, compliant, and visually compelling layouts
  • Support retail and wholesale initiatives with printed materials (sell sheets, displays, inserts, etc.)
  • Ensure all packaging meets regulatory and compliance requirements where applicable



Skills + Qualifications


01/ Preferred Experience

  • 2–4+ years of experience in packaging and print design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging systems, print collateral, and physical product design
  • Experience working within DTC, wellness, supplements, CPG, or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Proven ability to take packaging from concept through production and manufacturing


02/ Creative + Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma
  • Deep understanding of print production processes, materials, and file preparation
  • Experience working with dielines, packaging structures, and print specifications
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills within physical formats
  • Ability to translate complex information into clean, clear packaging design
  • Strong attention to detail across alignment, spacing, and production accuracy


03/ Work style + Mindset

  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and accuracy
  • Ownership-driven with the ability to manage projects from concept through final production
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, operations, and marketing teams
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple timelines and vendors simultaneously

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with supplement or regulated product packaging
  • Familiarity with FDA labeling requirements or similar compliance standards
  • Experience developing packaging systems across multiple SKUs or product lines
  • Understanding of retail and shelf presentation strategies
