How You'll Make an Impact
As the Principal of Strategic Operations, you are the connective tissue that binds our product roadmap to our go-to-market reality. You are a senior individual contributor who thrives in the "in-between" spaces where Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales intersect. Your mission is to eliminate organizational friction and ensure that our most complex, cross-functional initiatives move from "code complete" to "customer value" with precision and speed.
You will act as a lead operator, diving into the trenches to map dependencies, unblock bottlenecks, and refine the workflows that keep our teams synchronized. You are responsible for the successful orchestration of horizontal initiatives—like major product launches or pricing migrations—that require a unified effort across multiple departments. In this role, you will go beyond traditional project management; you will be a practical systems thinker who builds the repeatable playbooks that allow BoxCast to scale without losing its agility.
This position requires a rare blend of technical empathy and operational discipline. You will advocate for team velocity, drive clarity amidst the chaos of a fast-growing roadmap, and ensure that every department is prepared and empowered to support our product at launch.
What You’ll Do:
Remote U.S. (Must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin)
Employees located near our Cleveland, OH office are welcome to work on-site, but this isn't required for this role.
Sponsorship for work authorization for foreign national candidates is not available for this position.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions. Because of this, every offer is unique. Additional details on total compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage, a generous time-off policy and parental leave policy for birthing and non-birthing parents, and the opportunity to contribute to your 401k plan to support your long-term goals.
Equal Opportunity Statement:
BoxCast is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. All qualified applicants receive equal consideration regardless of race, place of origin, color, age, marital status, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other status protected by law.
Candidate Accommodations:
We’re committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. If you need assistance or an accommodation during the interview process, please contact our People Operations team during the recruitment process.
A Final Note:
You do not need to match all of the listed expectations to apply for this position. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and skills.

What You’ll Do:
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Launches: Serve as the central hub for major initiatives, ensuring that Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales are synchronized on timelines and deliverables from kickoff to "Go-Live."
- Manage Critical Path & Dependencies: Proactively track the "interconnectedness" of projects; you identify when a delay in a backend API release will ripple through to a Marketing campaign and coordinate the adjustment.
- Standardize Release Checklists: Maintain and enforce the "Operational Readiness" standards to ensure Sales can sell, Support can troubleshoot, and Finance can bill for every new feature we ship.
- Facilitate Team Syncs: Run the "rhythm of execution" meetings; not to take notes, but to surface blockers, force decisions, and ensure all teams have the clarity they need to keep moving.
- Unblock the Pipeline: Act as the first responder when a cross-departmental project stalls, diving into the details to find a path forward and resetting expectations across the stakeholder group.
- Audit & Refine Workflows: Monitor our existing coordination tools (Jira, Slack, etc.) to identify where information is getting lost, implementing tactical "fixes" to keep communication loops tight.
- Integrity: You provide radical transparency into project health. You are honest about risks and realistic about timelines, prioritizing the long-term health of the company over short-term optics.
- Collaboration: You are the ultimate unblocker. You listen to the pain points of different departments and build solutions that elevate everyone's work rather than adding bureaucratic layers.
- Judgment: You can distinguish between a "process problem" and a "people problem." You make wise trade-offs when resources are tight, focusing on the critical path that drives the most impact.
- Achievement: You are a finisher. You have a relentless bias-to-action and take personal responsibility for dragging complex projects across the finish line, no matter the obstacles.
- Innovation: You don’t just manage chaos; you engineer it out of the system. You re-conceptualize how teams work together, finding elegant, simple solutions to complex organizational hurdles.
- 7+ years of experience in high-growth SaaS operations, Technical Program Management (TPM), or Product Ops.
- Deep experience with modern product development methodologies and the ability to navigate technical stacks (Jira, GitHub, API documentation).
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi-departmental launches from $0 to scale.
- Exceptional systems-thinking skills with the ability to establish new workflows (Atlassian, Zapier, internal tooling, etc.).
- Amazing communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and deeply technical engineers without formal authority.
- High agency and the ability to thrive in an environment where you must define your own "Definition of Done."
- Experience in a coordination or operations role within a tech company.
- Technical background (Engineering or CS degree) or experience as a former Product or Engineering Manager.
- Familiarity with the live-streaming or church technology landscape.
