The Precision Assembler


Job Description: The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the assembly of high-precision systems, including mechanical assemblies, cameras, optical lenses, and cable routing and fastening. The role involves assembly, calibration, testing, and reporting activities. Additionally, the assembler will be responsible for the complete assembly and integration of vision systems and will support the preparation and maintenance of assembly-related documentation.


Key Responsabilities:

• Assembly: Perform high-precision assemblies, including precision fittings and custom subassemblies.

• Calibration: Calibrate optical lenses and vision systems using dedicated software tools.

• Wiring and Tubing: Route and connect cables and pneumatic tubes required for the correct operation of the optical systems.

• Testing: Perform functional testing on electronic boards and micro-assemblies.

• Documentation: Support the creation and updating of assembly procedures and calibration reports.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.

• Support: Provide feedback on mechanical design and suggest improvements to increase assembly efficiency and reliability.


Required Qualifications

Degree, technical diploma, or equivalent technical background in Mechanical Engineering or related technical fields.

• Proven experience in precision mechanical assembly.

• Strong skills in the use of mechanical measurement instruments (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches).

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.

• Experience with linear motion components (e.g., linear motors, ball screws, linear guides).

• Basic understanding of mechanical calibration and alignment principles.

• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic English knowledge is considered a plus.
