Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Create and optimize data models using Power BI DesktoWrite and optimize DAX measures and calculations
- Perform data transformation using Power Query (M language)
- Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud sources)
- Ensure performance optimization and data accuracy
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage access controls
- Schedule data refreshes and maintain Power BI Service
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and report issues
- Document BI solutions and provide user training/support
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience in data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, and gateways
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
