Role Description
This seat sits at the intersection of our creator-led awareness work and the bottom of the funnel. You will design, launch, and optimize affiliate and performance programs that layer cleanly into the top and mid-funnel campaigns we already run. You will own the tooling, the partner relationships, the reporting, and the deal structures. If you like building inside an agency that already has the creator roster, the brand relationships, and the cultural fluency, this is the role for you.
This is a contract engagement to start, reporting to our Director, with a clear path to convert based on scope and fit.
Core Responsibilities
Affiliate Program Strategy & Buildout
• Recommend the right platform and structure for each client based on category, goals, and existing creator partners.
• Build the internal playbook for how Newhouse sells, launches, and manages these programs at scale.
Creator-Led Performance Programs
• Design CPA, CPC, flat-plus-commission, tiered bonus, and rev-share deal structures that work for creators and clients.
• Partner with our creator and talent teams to convert existing relationships into performance-layered deals without compromising talent experience.
• Vet creators for conversion fit, not just audience fit.
Paid Amplification of Creator Content
• Work alongside paid media leads to amplify top-performing creator content across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Set benchmarks, monitor spend efficiency, and feed creative insights back into the organic program.
• Pressure-test whitelisting, Spark Ads, and branded content workflows with an eye on efficiency.
Measurement, Attribution & Reporting
• Own the reporting layer: tracking links, UTMs, pixels, post-purchase surveys, MMM inputs, and platform dashboards.
• Translate data into clear client-facing narratives that prove ROI and shape the next campaign.
• Flag what is working, what is not, and what to double down on.
Client & Internal Partnership
• Act as the performance and affiliate expert on client calls. Answer the hard questions in plain language.
• Work hand in hand with account, strategy, creative, and production leads to keep awareness and performance programs in the same rhythm.
• Help pitch the practice in new business conversations when called on.
Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, performance marketing, or creator-led commerce, ideally across agency and brand side.
• Hands-on experience managing affiliate programs.
• Fluent in performance metrics: CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, EPC, conversion rate, and incrementality.
• Strong command of attribution models and their limits.
• Experience structuring creator deals beyond flat fees, including commission, tiered bonuses, and hybrid models.
• Confident on client calls. Can defend a recommendation, read a room, and course correct in real time.
