OKTOBER is hiring People & Culture Lead to join us. We're one of the fastest growing Shopify Retention Agencies in the space and both clients and brands love us.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full hiring pipeline — reviewing applications daily, running screening calls, and keeping things moving fast
  • Fill the pipeline yourself — sourcing via LinkedIn (manual and automated), outbound outreach via Lemlist, job ads, AI sourcing tools
  • Handle pre-onboarding and new starter check-ins so every hire lands well from day one
  • Build and run our performance review process (quarterly and annual) with leadership
  • Write and own job descriptions, working closely with department heads and the team to get them right
  • Shape culture and L&D — from bi-annual meetups planning and hosting to the programmes that help our team grow and stay connected

What We're Looking For (non-negotiable)

  • You've run hiring and people ops in a fast-moving agency or startup before
  • You move fast — candidates don't sit in your ATS for weeks
  • You're tool-fluent: Ashby, Lemlist, and building outreach lists from scratch
  • You take full ownership — you don't wait to be told what needs doing next
