We’re working with a global, remote-first business that’s expanding its payroll operations and looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of Sweden (with exposure to Denmark).
This is a senior, hands-on role — not a people-lead position — ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to payroll expert while helping improve processes in a fast-moving international environment.
Key requirements:
- Swedish social security number (essential)
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Solid experience running Swedish payroll end to end
- Danish payroll experience is a strong plus
- SAP experience highly desirable
What you’ll be doing:
- End-to-end payroll processing, compliance, filings and payments
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Sweden
- Partnering closely with finance, payroll, product and engineering teams
- Managing reconciliations, KPIs and SLAs
- Improving and implementing payroll processes
- Supporting and mentoring payroll colleagues when needed
