Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and payroll software; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Process payroll for all employees, including calculating hours, wages, taxes, and deductions
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee information regularly
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues promptly
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements as required
- Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting requirements
- Stay current on payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
- Collaborate with the HR team to verify employee data and payroll information
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee data
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
