We are currently supporting a global organization with the search for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join on a temporary contract basis. This role is fully remote within Europe and will focus primarily on Sweden payroll, with secondary support for Denmark.


Location

Remote (Europe-based candidates preferred)

Primary: Sweden | Secondary: Denmark

Also open to candidates based in Poland or the Netherlands


Contract Details

  • Duration: 2–3 months (temporary cover)
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week
  • Working days: Monday–Friday
  • Pay rate: TBC


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect payroll input data via ServiceNow (ticketing system) and Workday reports
  • Review, validate, and prepare payroll input data
  • Transfer payroll inputs to external payroll vendors in line with predefined formats, deadlines, and cut-off times
  • Review payroll draft outputs, provide feedback, and approve/sign off payroll
  • Communicate with payroll vendors via client portals
  • Complete post-payroll activities, including sharing accounting reports with the Accounting team
  • Respond to employee payroll-related queries where possible.


Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in Payroll Administration, ideally supporting Sweden payroll (Denmark exposure is a plus)
  • Proven experience working closely with external payroll vendors
  • Comfortable working with HR/payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow or similar)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, temporary environment
  • Availability to start at short notice is highly preferred
