The Payment Operations Manager will focus on:

  • Ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant processing of all players financial transactions – deposits, withdrawals, reconciliations
  • Delivering a seamless and secure payment experience for players while maintaining strong financial control
  • Collaborating closely with the Fraud & Transaction Monitoring team to prevent unauthorized or high-risk payouts


Responsibilities:

Transaction Process

  • Manage a team of associates on account review and payment approvals
  • Process and verify player deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers in a timely manner
  • Review and validate withdrawal requests according to internal policies and risk indicators
  • Escalate flagged or suspicious transactions to the Fraud & Transaction Monitoring team before approval


Payment Process Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with payment processors
  • Monitor processor performance (success rate, downtime, transaction Fee) and recommend optimizations
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and failed transactions
  • Ensure all financial movements are accurately reflected in internal and processor systems
  • Support onboarding of new payment methods and markets in coordination with Tech and Compliance


Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

  • Ensure all payment processes comply with local and international regulations
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes related to payment processing, KYC, AML, and data security


Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline payment workflows to improve efficiency
  • Maintain and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to reflect best practices, new regulatory or business requirements and compliance requirements
  • Provide regular reports on payment volumes, turnaround times, and operational KPIs to the Senior Manager, Business Operations


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Payments experience preferably within the e-commerce, gaming, or financial service industry
  • Strong understanding of payment workflows, transaction processing, reconciliation, and dispute resolution
  • Ability to identify process gaps, analyze trends, and resolve payment issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, and gaming regulations affecting payments
  • Experience with payment gateways, payment service providers, payment platforms, and transaction monitoring tools
  • Ensures accurate and compliant handling of high-volume financial transactions
