- Collect, verify, and communicate benefit details of patient insurance policies during scheduling
- Educate patients on the insurance verification process and their estimated financial responsibility
- Confirm patient appointments and provide necessary details and instructions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and medical staff to ensure efficient appointment scheduling
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of customer service, appointment scheduling, or healthcare experience required
- 1+ years of EHR system experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of remote work experience, especially in high-volume call environments
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach to service
