Our client in the home care retail industry is hiring an Operations Manager!


Role Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain and inventory operations, serving as the primary liaison with manufacturing partners and overseeing procurement, demand forecasting, logistics tracking, and inventory accuracy across multiple warehouses and 3PLs. This role ensures timely production planning, optimizes stock levels based on growth and seasonal demand, resolves supply chain disruptions proactively, and leads internal processes related to purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, cost control, and operational efficiency.


Core Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relations & Procurement: Act as the primary point of contact for our manufacturing partners. You will manage production schedules, and place all Purchase Orders based on dynamic demand.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Develop and maintain inventory models that account for subscription churn, growth surges, and seasonal peaks. You will need to project needs months in advance to account for manufacturing and shipping lead times.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels across all 3PLs and warehouses. You will be responsible for the accuracy of our inventory data and reconciling any discrepancies.
  • Logistics Tracking: Track every shipment from the factory floor to our warehouse doors. You will proactively solve for delays in customs, shipping, or production.
  • Department Leadership: Oversee the inventory department, refining internal processes for PO issuance, invoice reconciliation, and stock reporting.
  • Cost Tracking & Optimization: Track expenses on bills & purchase orders and see where costs can be optimized


Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management.
  • Strong background in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Experience managing suppliers, issuing POs, and tracking logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP/inventory systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Ability to lead processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost optimization skills.
