Job Responsibilities and requirements
1) Business execution (with embedded controls)
- Own and run day-to-day operations of the business, including:
- customer onboarding (KYC/KYB execution)
- transaction processing (fiat / crypto flows)
- account lifecycle management
- customer support coordination
- Ensure all activities are executed efficiently, consistently, and within defined control frameworks
- Deliver a smooth customer experience without compromising operational integrity
- Take full ownership of end-to-end customer journeys including:
- onboarding is complete and accurate
- transactions are processed correctly and timely
- exceptions are handled in line with procedures
- Ensure all customer files and transactions are complete, traceable, and audit-ready
- Maintain and enforce clear, practical SOPs for all operational activities.
- Improve workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and customer experience
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and resolve them pragmatically
2) Control execution
- Execute controls defined by Compliance and Risk, including but not limited to:
- onboarding procedures and checklists
- verification steps and documentation handling
- transaction monitoring triggers and escalation steps
- Ensure controls are applied consistently and correctly across all cases
- Identify operational issues, e.g.::
- missing or inconsistent documentation
- process deviations
- unusual customer or transaction behavior
- Escalate issues to Compliance or Risk clearly and without delay
- Act as the first checkpoint, not the final decision-maker on regulatory matters
3) Operational resilience
- Ensure operations can continue during:
- system disruptions
- transaction failures
- onboarding interruptions
- Execute fallback procedures and support incident handling from a business perspective
- Participate in business continuity and resilience testing, ensuring operational readiness
- Manage day-to-day interaction with outsourced operational providers
- Ensure third parties deliver services in line with agreed procedures and SLAs
- Escalate performance or control issues
4) Leadership
- Lead frontline teams responsible for onboarding, transactions, and support
- Build a culture of:
- ownership of tasks
- attention to detail
- consistent execution
- Ensure staff follow procedures as defined
- Compliance defines what must be done → you ensure it gets done
- Risk defines what is acceptable → you operate within those limits
- You execute, escalate, and ensure consistency
